As of October 16, 2025, Lee Min-ho has been confirmed to star in the film Assassin(s), an historical thriller about a real-life 1974 assassination attempt. He will be playing a rookie reporter who witnesses the event. Director Hur Jin-ho's latest film 'Assassins' has announced its star-studded cast, including Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho, as filming gets underway.
Currently in production, “Assassins” is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Korean thrillers, blending real historical events, cinematic realism and a stellar lineup of talent both in front of and behind the camera.
In this movie, Lee Min Ho takes on the role of a passionate rookie reporter in the social affairs department who witnesses a shocking incident, showcasing even deeper and more delicate acting than before.
Lee Min Ho spotted filming the movie on September 29, 2025 at History Museum. Fans who saw him said he looked extra fit and unbelievably handsome —“that physique is next-level!”.
