Lee Min Ho has picked his next film. After careful consideration, the Top Hallyu Star has decided to onboard the upcoming mystery thriller, The Assassin(s).
“The Assassin(s)” is based on the real-life mystery and conspiracy behind the shocking 8.15 sniper shooting that occurred on August 15, 1974, during a National Liberation Day ceremony held at the National Theater of Korea in Jangchung-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul. Based on testimony and records, the story explores the mystery of that day—officially only four shots were fired by the assassin, yet witnesses reported hearing more.
The main cast of the upcoming Korean film The Assassins (also known as The Assassin(s) includes Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho. The movie, directed by Hur jin-ho, is based on the 1974 assassination attempt on President Park Chung-hee.
Lee Min-ho: Appears as a rookie reporter in the social affairs department who is also a witness to the crime scene.
