Lee Min Ho | Omniscient Reader: The Prophet Teaser

Omniscent Reader the upcoming movie, is getting ready for its epic adventure!

"Omniscient Reader: The Prophet", which is based on the well-known web novel of the same name, tells the tale of Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), who unexpectedly finds himself in the world of a fantasy book he was reading. Knowing what transpired in the book, Kim Dok Ja embarks on a mission to prevent the end of the world. Yoo Joong Hyuk, the main character in the book that Kim Dok Ja read, is portrayed by Lee Min Ho.

The actors' flawless character makeovers are depicted in the recently published character posters. Kim Dok Ja, the only reader of an online novel that was serialized for more than a decade, enthralls with his concentrated look in the first poster. His poster's wording, "I'm the only reader who knows how this world ends," piques interest in his intended use of his knowledge.

In his poster, Yoo Joong Hyuk (Lee Min Ho), the protagonist of the book Kim Dok Ja reads, asks, "Why did the world turn out this way?".

When the novel comes to life, Yoo Sang Ah (Chae Soo Bin), who is with Kim Dok Ja, asks, "Do you have to battle like this everyday here?"

Shin Seung Ho portrays Lee Hyun Sung, a peer of Kim Dok Ja. He wrote, "Dok Ja, how do you know all this?" on his poster.revealing how he will develop into Dok Ja and his friends' dependable shield-like protection.

In her poster, Kim Dok Ja's ally who battles for justice, Jung Hee Won (Nana), also appears formidable. Her poster's content, "There is still one left—one who gave up on being human," raises questions about the person she might be referring to.

The mentee of Yoo Joong Hyuk is a high school girl named Lee Ji Hye (Jisoo from BLACKPINK). According to her, "Only the strong survive in this world."

As a young child who travels with Dok Ja and communicates with insects, Lee Gil Young (Kwon Eun Seong) declares his determination, "I also want to fight with the monsters."

Kim Dok Ja presents himself as the only ardent reader of "How to Survive in a Ruined World" in the teaser that was made public along with the posters, while his own world abruptly begins to fall apart. “This is the same as the start of that novel,” Kim Dok Ja muses as a shadowy goblin materializes on the subway.

The goblin starts assigning objectives in the form of "scenarios" as the world descends into anarchy; the first scenario is to eliminate at least one living thing. "We have to clear up to the 99th scenario," Kim Dok Ja explains, and chaos breaks out.

Kim Dok Ja pretends to convince Yoo Joong Hyuk to join him, saying, “My skill is to foresee the future.” Yoo Joong Hyuk is skeptical and throws him into the ocean, assigning Kim Dok Ja the task of surviving and meeting him at Chungmuro station. Screaming, "Yoo Joong Hyuk, you bastard," Kim Dok Ja collapses.

With Kim Dok Ja narrating, "The novel that only I knew and liked has become reality," the teaser concludes with a fierce struggle for survival.
