Apple TV+'s Korean drama "Pachinko" achieved the big wins at the ceremony for the 28th Critics Choice Awards was held in Los Angeles, California on January 15.

At the awards ceremony held by the Critics Choice Association in Los Angeles on Sunday, “Pachinko,” the hit Apple TV+ period drama centering on a Korean-Japanese-American family and based on the bestselling novel of the same name beat eight other nominees in the catergory. 

Unfortunately, Lee Min-ho wasn't able to attend at the said awards ceremony cos he is busy in schedule due to filming of his upcoming tv series "Ask The Stars".

Recently, while Hallyu stars such as Kim Soo-hyun, Song Joong-ki, and Park Bo-gum are stretching their activities one after another, actor Lee Min-ho also boarded the flow. In a drama set on a spaceship, Lee Min-ho plays an obstetrician who joins space travel by paying an astronomical amount. He depicts the process of budding love with Gong Hyo-jin, who plays an astronaut with the best skills, in a spaceship. Lee Min-ho is digesting most of the filming while riding a wire to express the weightless environment of the spacecraft. 

The drama drew attention because it featured space-related material, which is rare in Korea, and was a new work by writer Seo Sook-hyang, who wrote SBS' 'Incarnation of Jealousy' and MBC's 'Pasta'. After filming is completed sooner or later, computer graphics (CG) and other post-production work are expected to be released in the middle or second half of next year. 

Lee Min-ho also showed off his overseas popularity through various stages. He attended Fashion Week held in New York last month as a global ambassador for a fashion brand, and beat Hollywood stars such as Kim Kardashian to become the hottest topic. U.S. marketing platform Lefty and Italian fashion magazine Iodona also shed light on his career, saying, “Lee Min-ho was selected as the best influencer at New York Fashion Week, becoming a representative example of the continued popularity of Korean stars.”

Lee Min Ho's "Pachinko" Season 2 Complete Filming Schedule Revealed - 20221020

Apple TV+ Series ‘Pachinko’ Season 2, created by Soo Hugh and based on the bestselling novel by Min Jin Lee, the first season of Pachinko premiered on Apple TV+ on March 25, 2022 

The complete filming schedule for the second season of Apple TV+ Drama ‘Pachinko’ has been officially revealed. Just like the first, Season 2 production will also take place in two different locations, but instead of Vancouver, it will be Toronto, Canada, and instead of Busan, South Korea, it is Japan.

‘Pachinko’ Season 2 will begin filming on January 9th in Mississauga, Toronto and after almost three months it will wrap the Canada shoot on March 27, 2023. The Japanese shoot is expected to begin on March 27th, which will wrap on June 16, 2023.

The first season of Pachinko premiered on Apple TV+ on March 25 of this year and was renewed a month later for a second season. The multi-language series has received stellar ratings from both the critics and the audience. It has a 98% critics score and a 94% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The African American Film Critics Association has announced the main competition winners for its 4th annual AFFCA TV Honors, which will be presented at an in-person luncheon on Aug. 20 at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles.

The winners of the AAFCA TV Honors, which recognize outstanding achievements in television and streaming, are chosen by a jury of select members and were announced on Monday.
