Lee Min Ho ranked No.1 at Korean Wave Hallyu Index Google Search

The economic effect of K-culture between 2017 and 2021 has reached 37 trillion won over 5 years. Hallyu stars who increase exports whenever Google searches increase. 

According to this, the added value effect from the export of Hallyu items was 13 trillion won, and the number of jobs increased by 160,000. According to a report titled “Estimating the Economic Effects of the Spread of the Korean Wave” by the Korea Economic Research Institute (Hankyung-yeon) under the Federation of Korean Industries on the 10th, the increase in exports of consumer goods and cultural contents due to the Korean Wave.

The Hallyu Index is selected based on the Google search volume of 15 K-pop stars such as BTS, 15 actors such as Lee Min-ho, and the top 100 Korean dramas on IMDB, a British movie information collection site. Lee Min Ho Top #1 for "The Strongest Korean Actors" by Japanese Internet Votes

Korean Wave has become popular all over the world for a decade and so. And people especially the fanatics one have started to run after the stars and dramas. 

Rankingoo is a Japanese voting site that recently conduct a poll regarding who is the strongest Korean actors to Japanese citizens. They recently announced the "Top 10 Strongest Korean Actors" by Japanese Netizens that 2,557 voters in all ages and regardless of gender those who voted. Most of the actors in the list are well-known with high output. The rankings and the reasons for their favorites are also very interesting in which we can figured out the preferences of the Japanese netizens in terms with Korean drama male stars.

To start with, Ji Sung and Park Bo Gum tied for the ninth place, both were recognized as actirs with acting skills and good looks. On the eighth place is Cha Eun Woo, a large of number of netizen praised him for being beautiful and handsome at the same time with a delicate facial expressions. Then on seventh place, Lee Jong Suk, has a good face and figure, not only good at love scenes, but also good at serious types. The sixth place Ji Chang Wook, who won the favor of netizens with his sincere acting skills and strong eyes. Kong Liu, the fifth place, was impressive in "The Lonely and Brilliant God-Ghost", and he will never forget it for a long time. The fourth place, Seo In-guk's whose ability is to switch freely between love, action to historical dramas, plus singing the OST himself has attracted a large number of netizens.

The final top three are Park Seo Joon, Jang Keun Suk and Lee Min-ho. In the hearts of Japanese netizens, Park Seo-joon is a hard-working actor with a very stable output and the starring themes are also very interesting. Jang Keun Suk became popular in Japan after he starred in "So Beautiful" in 2009. Even though he seldom showed up after retiring from the military and once gained weight, he still couldn't easily shake his status in the hearts of Japanese netizens.

On the 6th of July, Lee Min-ho updates his gram account with 5 photos stating that he is currently having photoshoot with a luxury brand "Fendi". He even has a selfie, showcasting his freckles. He really loves and doesnt care whatever flaws that he has. That is why fans loves him so much for what he really is.

Lee Min Ho for "History of Korean Stars" Book

 

The new book "History of Korean Stars" by Bae Kook-nam, selected 92 Korean stars who have led the history of "Korean Pop Culture Stars" for over 100 years. 

Lee Min-ho has been selected as one of the 34 actors to be written in the said book. He is the youngest actor and the only one in his 30's. Not to mention that til this date, Lee Min-ho is a "Top Hallyu Superstar" with "The Most Influencial Korean Actor to Foreign Fans". Lee Min-ho is a truly gem and the pride of his country.

The book is definitely worth owning because first it is a limited edition. It is also the only book in Korea that illuminates the activities and achievements of Korean pop culture stars that has been syntactically analyzed and organized. The book is a '2023 Excellent Publishing Content' selected by the Korea Publishing Culture Industry Promotion Agency.

On the 22nd of June, Actor Lee Min-ho celebrates his 37th Korean Birthday. As expected, fans were flooding him flowers, cakes, balloons and personal gifts. And most of all, a special donation box is also present on his special day. 

Lee Min-ho becomes a donation fairy. He received 221,368,886 votes and ranked 1st in the actor listing. He also became the 3rd donation fairy thru Choi Aedol Celeb Donation Fairy. This proceeds will go through with Mirae Welfare Foundation in the name of the 52nd donation fairy actor Lee Min-ho. This said donation drive achieved an accumulated 2.5 million won.
