He said, "While I was thinking about how society is becoming more individualized and isolated, I came across the script. I felt that even in a world heading toward destruction, the idea of finding comfort in our humanity and overcoming adversity together is something that resonates with our times."
Lee Min Ho described his character by saying, "I play Yoo Joong-hyuk. He's a tragic figure. He holds countless experiences within himself, lives through repeated reincarnations, and endures a lonely existence."
He added, "It's ultimately a story about what it means to live. While Yoo Joong-hyuk silently carries out his missions, I think he was hoping readers would step into his world."
As for the charm of the character, he humorously mentioned, "It's the leather coat. It doesn't breathe and is so heavy that after filming, my shoulders would ache."
Lee Min Ho also reflected, "With the rise of the Al era, I think people are once again dreaming about an idealized life. But I feel like living an immortal life might be miserable. If I could live long, I'd like to experience many different kinds of lives."
Praising co-star Nana, he said, "I really liked her raw, unfiltered energy. I'm trying to bring that same quality into my performance. Nana has an incredible physical presence and energy that I admire."
He shared, "I've been in communication with the production company's CEO since the early stages of the project. I usually avoid characters who are overtly 'cool' for the sake of being cool. I prefer roles that begin from a place of lacking and grow from there. But Yoo Joong-hyuk was already captivating from the start, which made it feel burdensome. Even if the film does well, I'm not sure it can fully satisfy fans of the original. I'd say my sync with Yoo Joong-hyuk is about 10%."
