Lee Min Ho | The Real Protagonist of a Novel

It's been serialized for more than a decade. The novel's world becomes real on the day it ends, and the only reader, "Kim Dok-ja," must survive in the destroyed world alongside the protagonist, "Yoo Jung-hyuk," and his coworkers in the fantasy action movie "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint." The novel has been serialized for more than ten years.

In "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint," actor Lee Min-ho, who has made waves throughout the world with his films like "Ask the Stars," "Pachinko 1, 2," "The King: Eternal Monarch," "Legend of the Blue Sea," and "The Heirs," introduces the audience to the indispensable character "Yoo Jung-hyuk." The main character of the book "Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World," Yoo Jung-hyuk, is so strong and skilled that he can use the regression talent to start over from the beginning even after he dies, clearing every scenario. He captures the audience's interest with his presence and images right away, and he repeats many regressions while making the most of the audience's absorption with nuanced emotional lines and dramatic movements. 

'Yoo Jung-hyuk' was filled with cynicism from everything he had gone through while breaking numerous situations, but he meets 'Kim Dok-ja' (Ahn Hyo-seop), who sets up a scenario that differs from what he was used to on Dongho Bridge and starts to watch him. 'Yoo Jung-hyuk', who is wary of trust, puts 'Dok-ja' to the test after he extends an invitation to join him. The audience is becoming more and more interested in the relationship between "Kim Dok-ja," the lone character in the book who has admired him for more than a decade, and "Yoo Jung-hyuk," as well as the type of conclusion they will come up with together.

"I gave a lot of thought to the loneliness of a human who lives an immortal life alone," stated Lee Min-ho. He is a character who fights all the time, therefore I work really hard to get ready for the action scenes,” he said, highlighting his love for his distinct persona. "I had to show this worldview through Yoo Joong-hyuk, and I thought that he had to be real so that the process of the readers entering this worldview and overcoming the crisis would be convincing," he added, indicating that he approached the character at the heart of the story with tact. 

In addition, he hinted at the work he put into his dense acting when he remarked, "I thought a lot about how to make the action movements, eye contact, and facial expressions not excessive, and how to make them not seem fake."

In July, "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint," which introduces you to the ferocious character "Yoo Joong-hyuk," who appears to have exploded off the screen, will be released in theaters around the country.
